Start-up's goal: Snack your way to good health

SMU student Robin Lim and Yale-NUS College student Roslyn Teng are the founders of Made Real, a new start-up which brings nutritious snacks in monthly snack boxes to the doorsteps of people seeking healthy lifestyles. Through the initiative, the duo hopes to tackle social problems such as eating disorders, and have organised health and fitness bazaars. Robin said: “In the long term, we hope to channel our resources into content, programmes and events that impact our community with a more positive body image.” Made Real was one of 12 start-ups on show at an innovation fair held at SMU on March 25. All the start-ups on display are being incubated by the SMU Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
