SMU and SUTD have taken in their first batch of 30 students for its four-year course in technology and management. Students went through written tests and interviews with both SMU and SUTD faculty members, and will graduate with two degrees: a Bachelor of Business Management from SMU and a Bachelor of Engineering from SUTD, with specialisation in areas such as engineering product development. Mr Tom Estad, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Matters) at SMU's Lee Kong Chian School of Business, said: "Quality is a concern to us. We'd like to maintain the capacity at 45, so that we can get the best of each cohort."
