Study: Volunteers donate thrice as much to charity as non-volunteers

The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre and SMU Behavioural Sciences Institute Director Professor David Chan worked together on a study on volunteerism in Singapore in 2013. The study found that those who do volunteer work regularly donate thrice as much to charity compared to those who do not.
