In his lecture “The next 50 years of Singapore”, Chairman of the SMU Board of Trustees and Executive Chairman of Banyan Tree Holdings Mr Ho Kwon Ping suggested that sensitive issues of race and religion be gradually brought into open discussion, as they will eventually become desensitised when they are discussed responsibly and diligently by all members of society.
