SMU graduate Steve Sng left his job at a small information technology company and enrolled at the university to enhance his skills. He developed a smartphone app “LoveByte” in 2011 that provides couples with an electronic platform to chat freely and share photos. He shared that studying in SMU had given him a deeper understanding of business. He felt that he would contribute to society if he could strike out on his own.
