SMU students Mohammad Muzhaffar Omar, Jillian Yeo Hui Ying and Grace Sim Hui Xian have emerged as victors in the LawAsia International Moot 2014 which took place in Bangkok, Thailand on 2 to 6 October. Mohammad Muzhaffar, who is currently on the dean’s list, was named Best Oralist in the competition. This marks the second time SMU students have won the competition. In the Hague Choice of Court Agreements Convention Moot 2014, which took place at the Hong Kong High Court on 10 and 11 October, the SMU team comprising Md Noor E Adnaan and Al-gene Tan beat the team from Wuhan University for SMU’s 11th international moot competition win.
