Found new direction after weight-loss

SMU psychology undergraduate Lin He Ping said that he had binged on food five years ago after an emotional setback and gained 20kg in just three months as a result. After realising it, he resolved to lose weight and participated in aerobic exercises held in gyms, such as body combat and Zumba. It was then that he discovered his life’s ambition – to be a group exercise instructor – which would enable him to combine his interests of fitness-training and performing. Even though the pursuit of his interest may impact his grades, Lin said that he is sure of his goal in life and will persist in it.
