SMU graduate Shayus Shahida Sharif had completed her studies as a top student in political science and was subsequently chosen to be the valedictorian for the SMU School of Social Sciences convocation ceremony. Shayus admitted that the lecture delivery system at SMU and her participation in overseas study programmes in Japan and the US are amongst the factors that have helped her excel in her studies.
