The uncertain state of the European Union

In a commentary, SMU Adjunct Professor and Institute of Southeast Asia Studies Visiting Senior Research Fellow Joergen Oerstroem Moeller noted that signs of an economic recovery in the European Union are visible even if it is far from certain that it will live up to expectations. It seems, however, that economic policies are just about right in finding the balance between reducing debts and sustaining the recovery.
