Singapore's casinos face obstacles to growth

Commenting on the stalled growth of Singapore's integrated resorts, SMU Associate Professor of Law and Nominated MP Eugene Tan said that the government is not likely to change its policies any time soon. The city, he said, wants to show that its casinos – the most profitable on the planet – are also the world's best regulated. "We're not going to sell our grandmothers just to make money," Associate Prof Tan said.
