The second Singapore-India Business Dialogue, which took place at SMU, attracted around 300 local and foreign investors, as well as university students. In his keynote address, Mr Prashant Saran, Whole-time Member of the Securities & Exchange Board of India, spoke about the challenges and opportunities of India’s economy. He said that India’s development is in the hands of the current government, and that India’s business sector would be more attractive if there were improvements in other areas such as education and infrastructure.
