S'pore experts on the perils of childhood obesity and how to avert it

On the growing number of children ballooning in weight in Asia, SMU Assistant Professor of Economics Kim Seonghoon said that childhood is the time to learn good habits which last for life. He suggested that government efforts, such as the One Million KG Challenge, would be more effective if the focus was on children and young adults whose lifestyles are relatively easier to change.
