The Singapore Shipping Association has signed an agreement with Singapore Maritime Foundation to offer three scholarships worth $50,000 to students in SMU and the Singapore Maritime Academy who are taking maritime-related courses under the MaritimeONE scholarship scheme. SMU Economics undergraduates who choose to specialise in maritime economics can also apply for a $10,000 grant annually in their third and fourth years of study. There are two such grants available.
