SMU and SUTD will jointly offer a dual degree programme in Technology and Management. Students will take lessons on both campuses. Upon graduation, they will receive a Bachelor of Engineering from SUTD and Bachelor of Business Management from SMU. Students are required to complete 16 weeks of internship and 80 hours of community service. Community service is compulsory as the universities want to nurture students who will learn to give back to the community. The programme will begin this year, with a first intake of 45 students.
