Third-year SMU business student Guo Jin Kai is one of the recipients of the $10-million educational fund from the Singapore Leong Khay Huay Kuan. Guo, who received a $2,000 bursary, said that the amount is equivalent to his earnings from giving private tuition for four or five months. He can now use the money to pay the bank for part of his first-year undergraduate tuition fees, and spare more time to do his assignments.
