TickTok, a mobile phone application (app) designed by three SMU students, allows iPhone users to check how long queuing would take at a particular restaurant and how many guests there are at the restaurant without being there personally. The app currently covers more than 8,000 local restaurants. Users can also post reviews of which restaurants are worth queuing for, and download discount vouchers from selected merchants.
