New law school to be set up by year 2015 at the earliest; study panel to visit UK to learn more

UniSIM President Prof Cheong Hee Kiat said that its law school would be set up by 2015 at the earliest. This is because the university requires time to determine how the focus of its programme should be different from that of SMU and NUS. A panel to study how UK law schools are delivering their programmes via e-learning and distance learning, which are some of the avenues through which it plans to deliver its own programme, will set off this weekend.
