SMU has launched an academy, the Financial IT Academy @ SMU, to train financial sector IT professionals. The academy will focus on providing these professionals with knowledge of the business needs and processes of financial institutions. The launch follows SMU’s appointment by the government in May this year as the lead provider to design and deliver quality IT training programmes for IT job roles in the financial services sector in Singapore.
