Second time in six years that both bus companies are able to meet all service standards

The Public Transport Council’s half-yearly assessment of bus service standards for the December 2012 to May 2013 period showed that both bus operators had met the standards required in all the stipulated categories, and service levels had improved. However, this is not reflected in the customer satisfaction level. According to the latest Consumer Satisfaction Survey conducted by the Institute of Service Excellence at SMU last month, the public’s satisfaction score for bus services for the second quarter this year slid by one point to 60.6, placing it the lowest among the various transport services.
