SMU Associate Professor of Law and NMP Eugene Tan wrote a commentary in response to the open letter written by the chairman of the Public Service Commission Mr Eddie Teo which emphasised the importance of maintaining diversity and inclusiveness and avoiding groupthink in the Singapore public service. Associate Prof Tan agreed with the views expressed by Mr Teo, and felt that the letter would help strengthen the message of building a fair and just society.
