The Singapore Amoy Association organised the sixth edition of its Mid-Autumn Celebration on Thursday. The event was supported by many organisations, including the SMU Chinese Student Alumni Association. The association brought in a traditional game popular in the Xiamen region called "Compete the cake", which involved thousands of guests taking turns to throw a dice in order to win the biggest and roundest "scholar cake".
