SUniG Tennis: Felix Wee of SMU defeats Brian Colin of NUS 9-4 to win singles gold

SMU’s Felix Wee beat NUS’ Brian Colin 9-4 to win the tennis men’s singles gold in the Singapore University Games (SUniG). Throughout the match, both players traded deep and powerful shots that kept their opponent at the baseline. Their consistency was also put to the test with both sides doing their best to keep the ball in play and not commit any unforced errors. Felix Wee of SMU emerged victorious with his more composed performance. “It was tight at the start because I think we were both nervous. But as the game moved on, we became more warmed up and I managed to get a 4-1 lead. That made me more comfortable and I started to play better and things just picked up from there,” he said.
