To tap the rapidly expanding medical technology sector, A*STAR has partnered the European Central Bank to set up the year-long Singapore-Stanford Biodesign (SSB) programme. Twelve fellows have gone through the programme since it started in 2010. The programme enrols post-graduates with an engineering, medical and/or business background from SMU, NUS, NTU and Duke-NUS.
