IVP Wakeboarding: Andy Huang of NUS rips through competition to take home Men’s Freeride

SMU’s Padma Lau edged out Republic Polytechnic's Fion See Toh to claim the top spot in the Women's Novice final at the Rip Curl Singapore National Inter-Varsity and Polytechnic Wakeboarding Championships. Her combination of power slides and two-wake jumps were enough to help her score enough points to secure her win. SMU also completed a one-two finish in the Women’s Freeride final with Denise Wong and Jasmine Ng finishing first and second respectively. While both ladies went neck-and-neck in their runs, Denise managed to eke out the win as she was more refined technically and had more air off her jumps.
