Speaking about his life story, TV host Pornsak described how he moved in with his schoolmates from Secondary 2 onwards and eventually moved into an apartment his father rented when he went to SMU. On his hosting career, he thanked his mentors, Ms Margaret Chan, former actress and SMU School of Social Sciences Associate Professor of Theatre Studies, and Ms Goh Djong Hoa, the vice-president of Chinese entertainment productions at MediaCorp. Pornsak won a UFM 100.3 deejay contest in his final year at SMU in 2004, and joined the radio station full-time after graduating in business management.
