SMU undergraduate Gary Yeo was among the 380 athletes who had received the Singapore Olympic Foundation-Peter Lim Scholarship on 1 July. These scholarships amount to $936,000 in total. Gary is currently taking a leave of absence from school to concentrate on the Southeast Asian Games. He said the scholarship allowed him to concentrate on his training as he need not have to worry about his daily expenses.
