I was blamed for party's missteps

Former Workers’ Party (WP) member Sanjeev Kamalasanan recently wrote a blog post claiming that he had quit the party because he had not been picked as a cadre member. SMU Assistant Professor of Law and NMP Eugene Tan observed: “Mr Sajeev appears to want the WP to respond to his concerns leading to his resignation, as well as the party’s position vis-à-vis minority race members.” But he added that Mr Sanjeev’s blog post will be a “non-issue” with “little, if any repercussion on the WP,” especially as it is fighting off questions by the PAP over transparency in the WP’s relationship with its own town council managing agent, FM Solutions and Services.
