NUS Faculty of Law imposed the largest increase in school fees

Singapore’s four Government-funded universities have raised their tuition fees for the next academic year. With the exception of 2009, university fees have been increasing almost annually. The Government has said that it would make small fee increases more frequently rather than hefty hikes every few years. Singaporeans enrolling at SMU, NTU and SUTD in the next academic year will pay 1 to 3 per cent more, while those enrolling at NUS will pay up to 8 per cent more than their seniors depending on their course. Out of all the fee hikes, NUS law imposed the largest increase for local students.
