Four universities and SIT raise tuition fees

The four local universities and Singapore Institute of Technology will be raising their tuition fees for the new intake. SMU and SUTD will be raising its tuition fees for local students by 2 per cent across the board, while NUS and NTU will be raising tuition fees by 1 to 8 per cent. For international students and Singapore permanent residents, tuition fees will be raised by 7 to 17 per cent. This is the fourth time SMU, NUS and NTU have raised their school fees since 2009.
