Singapore: Singapore’s customer satisfaction index hits new high

Business News - The customers in Singapore are generally more satisfied with the level of service they received in 2012, according to the latest reading of an index released Tuesday. The Customer Satisfaction Index, compiled by the Institute of Service Excellence at the Singapore Management University, rose to 69.9 points on a scale of 0 to 100. It is 1.3 percent higher than the level of 2011. It was the second year in a row that the index has seen a significant improvement. The improvement was due mainly to the performance of the finance and insurance as well as the healthcare.

The index was launched in 2007 to track Singapore's customer satisfaction levels.
