Singapore: Singapore’s customer satisfaction index hits new high

According to the latest Customer Satisfaction Index compiled by the Institute of Service Excellence at SMU, customers in Singapore are generally more satisfied with the level of service they received in 2012. The index rose to 69.9 points on a scale of 0 to 100. It is 1.3 per cent higher than the level of 2011. It was the second year in a row that the index has seen a significant improvement. The improvement was due mainly to the performance of the finance and insurance as well as the healthcare sectors.
