Soon Sze Meng discussed the importance of sustaining social mobility in Singapore. He noted that investing in sustaining social mobility strengthens social cohesion, and that social cohesion is one of the three pillars, along with a strong economy and robust defence, that ensure our sovereignty and survival. It is noted that Mr Soon is a speaker at Friday’s Fulbright-SMU Policy Forum on ‘Social Mobility and Public Finance’.
