We are not averse to change, says Acting Minister

At a post-National Day Rally dialogue with SMU students, acting Manpower Minister Tan Chuan-Jin said Singapore is always ready to make adjustments when needed. Questions posed by SMU students included: Does Singapore's quest to stay ahead of the pack influence its leaders to stick to what works, instead of adopting radical solutions; and in conducting a national conversation, would Singaporeans be given the necessary tools and space to participate?
