Singapore's newest Nominated Members of Parliament made their maiden appearance in the House yesterday, where they took their oath of allegiance. It marked the start of a 2½-year term for the nine, who represent diverse segments of society. They include Mr Eugene Tan, 41, Assistant Professor of Law at SMU.
