Two professors who criticized local students and commented they were stupid and slow in learning had sparked some unhappiness among the locals. Assistant Professor Eugene Tan from the SMU School of Law felt that making baseless accusations at local students was not appropriate and said that local students are very hardworking, which explained why so many MNCs employ the local graduates.
