University education more than just paper qualification says Education Minister

In response to a question, Education Minister Heng Swee Keat said that growth of the university sector would not result in reducing the value of degrees and pointed out that university education is much more than just securing a qualification on paper. He made these remarks at the Ministerial Forum organized by the Singapore Management University on Tuesday where he responded to questions from some 300 students.
