The Singapore Sports Council (SSC) and T he University of Oregon (UO) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday, which will result in three areas of collaboration for the five-year term: Providing local sports leaders with learning opportunities, giving Singaporean students educational and internship opportunities with the university and industry partners, and having UO students work with the SSC and local industry partners. Sprinter and second-year SMU business student, Gary Yeo, who won a silver in the men's 100m at last month's SEA Games, is keen on making the switch from SMU to UO.
