Nominations for the next crop of Nominated MPs (NMPs) closed yesterday. Academics among the candidates include: SMU Asst Prof Eugene Tan; NUS Assoc Prof Paulin Tay Straughan, who is running for a second term; NIE Assoc Prof Teo-Koh Sock Miang, and; Republic Polytechnic environment education lecturer Faizah Jamal.
