Discrimination pervasive in Singapore Rental Market

Assistant Professor Eugene Tan from SMU School of Law commented on landlords' discrimination of some races in Singapore, when it comes to posting of rental ads. He said, although this constitutes discrimination, it is not against the laws in Singapore. Landlords also have their rights to make demands. He said, “This is more an ethical issue than a legal issue.”
