The recent Singapore Writers Festival was given a big thumbs up and one of the festival's strengths was its buzzy and central venue, which spread out across five locations in what was dubbed the festival district - the National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore Art Museum, School of the Arts, and the National Library Building - as well as The Arts House and much of the festival was concentrated in and around two tents on the SMU Campus Green: The Transaction Pavilion, reflecting this year's theme of transaction, and the Festival Pavilion, which hosted the festival bookshop.
