The Institute of Service Excellence at SMU announced yesterday the results for the two above sectors in the Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore (CSISG). Consumers gave the tourism industry a score of 73.5-points out of 100, an improvement of 4.2-points over the same period last year. The score also represents the sector's best showing since 2007 when CSISG was launched. Caroline Lim, ISES director said, “The tourism industry has been growing rapidly in recent years with rising tourist arrivals. Greater vibrancy in the sector would spur the industry players to achieve higher customer satisfaction.â€Â
