The Institute of Service Excellence at SMU (ISES) announced yesterday that the F&B sector's score rose by 3.7 per cent to 67.5 points on a scale of 0 to 100 and satisfaction in the tourism sector rose 6 per cent to 73.5 points. Marcus Lee, academic director at ISES said the findings were not surprising, although it's encouraging that both sectors went up and it did show that in the face of increasing tourist arrivals, both these sectors were doing very well in coping with the increased number of customers.
