Television actress Jeanette Aw appeared in a panel discussion called “You can write too†which was held at SMU as part of the Singapore Writer's Festival. The discussion was chaired by academic K.K. Seet and actor Edmund Chen, Swedish writer Fredrik Haren and reformed gangster Joshua Foo were also on the panel.
