Singapore's use of ISA 'on smaller scale than in Malaysia'

With different countries taking different approaches in applying the Internal Security Act (ISA), Asst Prof Eugene Tan said in a post-Sept 11 world, pressure from the United States and the European Union to abolish the ISA has decreased as they grapple with the need to detain radicals and prevent them from engaging in acts of terror.
