Plans to make every household CPR-ready gets new boost

SMU is the first and only university in Singapore to have an accredited training centre to conduct CPR and basic life-saving courses.  Since gaining accreditation in June, it has 44 staff and students who are qualified to administer CPR, and two staff who are certified CPR instructors with another two undergoing instructor training.  In addition, it will soon be mandatory for all student leaders and freshmen camp facilitators to be CPR-qualified.
