Law Ministry considering licensing 3 to 5 QCs here

The Ministry of Law is considering granting licences for three to five top Queen's Counsel to work as independent practitioners and argue their cases in court. In announcing this possible move, Law Minister K Shanmugam notes that there continues to be a shortage of lawyers in Singapore, even though there are about 350 students reading Law at the NUS Law Faculty and SMU's School of Law.
