Most of the events at this year's Singapore Writers Festival (Oct 22 to 30) will be held at two air-conditioned tents on SMU's Campus Green, and some of the free programmes will be held at the Big Steps in SMU's School of Information Systems. The festival's steering committee is chaired by lawyer and writer Philip Jeyaretnam, who spoke at a press conference at SMU yesterday.
