On a finding in a study by Associate Professor Norman Li that Singapore women are more materialistic than their American counterparts, Dr Lee Wei Ling of the National Neuroscience Institute also carried out her own poll which found that both Singapore men and women placed intelligence above beauty in choosing mates.
