The increasing demand for and supply of life enrichment courses has seen instructors moving out of conventional classrooms and into real-life, such as a dinner party at a restaurant. Assistant Professor of Psychology William Tov said that these dinners help people avoid the stigma that comes from telling others that one is seeking help. Senior lecturer of management Goh Ban Eng said that coaching is different from counselling or mentoring as it helps a person identify and develop strengths and capabilities to achieve goals.
