New voters' sentiments hard to grasp

According to political observer Assistant Professor Eugene Tan, the first time voters belong to the younger generation who has higher expectations of the government. They do not want a top down approach. They want to be heard, be consulted. Reaching out to this group will be one of the greatest challenges for the ruling party.
